    There are a number of removalist companies that specialise in global relocations, so it's a good idea to get a range of quotes before making a decision. Keep in mind the cheapest quote isn't necessarily the best one.
    Take into consideration: 

    how long it will take for your belongings to arrive
    the insurance policy details and whether or not the company can help you with customs documentation

    It is advisable to  read reviews and testimonials online from people who have already used the removalist company you are considering before you make your final decision.
    Although it's comforting to be surrounded by familiar things when you move to a new country, it's worthwhile doing a thorough review before deciding what to bring to Australia to determine whether the costs outweigh the benefits.
    Think twice before bringing any electrical goods. Australia runs on 230V power (50Hz), so you may require transformers and adaptors for them to work in Australia.
