The centre is open from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm and provides quality long day care and education for children from birth to six years. For your convenience, nappies and nutritious morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea are provided.
Sydney-01The centre also boasts spacious outdoor learning environments with age specific resources, and a climbing wall. In addition to this, the centre has two large separate play areas for children from birth to 2 years and 2 to 5 years to allow all children to enjoy outdoor play. Each area is equipped with age specific resources, allowing children to learn and develop skills at their own pace.
We also enjoy regular incursions such as Indigenous Dance Workshops, Sports Fundamentals, weekly French classes and a monthly Yukababe Music Program visit just to name a few.
Our centre is close to all public transport and is only a 3 minutes’ walk from Wynyard train station. Our location enables easy access to buses travelling to and from Manly, Seaforth, Balgowlah and Fairlight.. In addition to this drop off parking is available on Kent Street. For added security the centre can only be accessed via our security system.
We believe in individuality of our children and are lucky to have such a multicultural centre. Both our educators and families come from a variety of different backgrounds; this is a great opportunity for children to learn about and to learning respect for different cultures, backgrounds, ethnicities and races. We want to help the children build mutually respectful relationships of trust and empathy that exists to promote the children’s well-being and sense of belonging.
We pride ourselves on giving back to our wider community. Each year we fundraise for a range of charities. In doing so, it provides children with the opportunity to understand and contribute to the wider community. less
