About the opportunity
Our Bupa Information Services team are seeking two experienced MS Application Designers for 6 month fixed term contracts.
Based in Melbourne, the MS Application Designers will possesses broad and deep expertise on Application related Solution Architecture and Systems Design for Microsoft Dynamics and other related MS applications including Azure applications. This will include helping to define and implement solutions for project initiated solution delivery for BUPA.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Work closely with stakeholders to clarify requirements and give them a level of understanding regarding the MS solutions and configuration vs customisation.
- Design and document application solutions that meet the required E2E Business Outcomes and are consistent with Bupa strategy and standards (including security and disaster recovery)
- Combine an understanding of short and long term trade-offs, mix business and technical needs, and facilitate and guide discussions between the business and IS in relation to project solutions.
- Follow defined processes and produce the right artefacts to a high standard
- Possess a detailed and current awareness of existing and new technology and its capabilities and limitations.
- Work closely with vendors and partners to resolve design issues and provide guidance on application and integration issues related to solution design.
- Contribute to the improvement of Design Capability at Bupa; including contributions to pattern libraries
What does talent look like?
To be successful for this role you must have the following:
- Extensive experience and technical proficiency in C# Net, Microsoft Dynamics xRM, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Azure and other Microsoft applications such as Sharepoint, Biztalk, Active Directory as well as related solutions such as Sitecore; preferably on the current versions
- Significant proficiency and experience designing and delivery of these applications
- Extensive experience with enterprise solutions and integration with legacy systems
- Experience of working on API management, REST APIs, Cloud or Single view solutions will also be highly regarded
- Experience with continuous development/deployment is highly regarded.
- Well-developed skills in consultation, collaboration, communication, facilitation, and negotiation
- Experience in Software Development Lifecycle.
