The Department of Immigration and Border Protection is working with the Vietnam government to introduce a Work and Holiday (subclass 462) visa that will enable up to 200 young Vietnamese people with the required tertiary education and English skills to experience a working holiday in Australia.

The program year commences on 1 July each year and end on 30 June the following year. There is a limit of 200 first Work and Holiday visas granted to Vietnamese passport holders during this program year.
